Staying at a hotel in the middle of the Strip ensures that you’ll be within walking distance of most of the major attractions. The central part of the Las Vegas Strip is generally considered the most desirable. If you had to pick one, Caesars Palace is the most centrally located. This is the busiest part of the Strip with the largest density of hotels and casinos.

The hotels located between Harrah and the Waldorf Astoria, are generally considered to be the center of the Strip. However, there are fewer hotels in that area, so they aren’t typically referred to as being mid-Strip. Geographically speaking, the Mirage, Treasure Island, Venetian and Palazzo are located in the center of the Strip. The Las Vegas Strip runs from the Strat at the north end to Mandalay Bay on the south end. (This map is interactive, so you can zoom in to get a closer look.) The Mirage and Venetian are located on the border of what is considered mid-Strip and north-Strip. However, the general consensus is that everything between Harrah’s and the Waldorf Astoria is considered to be located in the center of the Strip. What is considered to be a “mid-Strip hotel” is open to interpretation. Cromwell Las Vegas Map of Las Vegas Hotels in the Middle of the Strip
